Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PourBridge (“PourBridge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use PourBridge.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use PourBridge, we may collect account information such as your email address and account identifiers; age-verification status and verification timestamp; drink taste profiles; food preferences; pairing preferences and intelligence; drink history; ratings; favorites; tasting notes; Want to Try selections; pairing history and feedback; recommendation interactions and outcomes; subscription and entitlement information; support communications; and technical information needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve PourBridge.

Photo features may process photos of bottles, cans, labels, or drinks. Photos intentionally saved with drink history may be stored with your account for cross-device availability. Photos submitted for identification or analysis may be transmitted to service providers as reasonably necessary to provide the requested feature.

How we use information

We use information to create and maintain accounts; verify eligibility for PourBridge's 21+ experience; synchronize account data; provide drink discovery, food-and-drink pairing, photo, personalization, and taste-intelligence features; operate Premium subscriptions and feature access; provide support; prevent abuse; diagnose problems; measure reliability and performance; and improve PourBridge.

We may use aggregated or de-identified usage, product-knowledge, pairing-knowledge, and recommendation-outcome information to improve PourBridge. We do not sell individual users' personal information or drinking histories to advertisers or data brokers.

Artificial intelligence

Certain PourBridge features use third-party AI services. Information reasonably necessary for a requested AI feature—such as taste context, food preferences, pairing history, recommendation requests, structured candidate information, or submitted images—may be transmitted to an AI service provider to generate the requested result.

AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. PourBridge does not claim a general right to use your private photos for unrelated advertising, commercial exploitation, or unrelated AI-model training merely because you used a photo feature.

Service providers

PourBridge currently relies on service providers including Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and cloud infrastructure; RevenueCat for subscription entitlements and subscription-related account linking; Google Play for Android distribution and payment processing; AI service providers for AI-powered features; Resend and related infrastructure for email; and Cloudflare and domain/DNS providers for website and network infrastructure. These providers process information according to their roles and applicable terms.

Payments and subscriptions

App-store providers process purchases. PourBridge does not receive or store your full payment-card number. PourBridge and its subscription provider may receive subscription product, entitlement, renewal or expiration, transaction-related, store-account, and PourBridge-account-linking information needed to provide Premium access and support purchase restoration.

Location

PourBridge does not currently require precise device GPS location for core functionality. Infrastructure and service providers may process network or device information that can indicate an approximate country or region.

Data storage and synchronization

PourBridge uses a local-first architecture for certain app data and may synchronize account data to cloud services when you are signed in. This can include profile information, drinks, pairings, saved items, feedback, recommendation outcomes, usage records, and stored drink photos associated with your account.

Retention and deletion

You may delete your account using PourBridge's in-app Delete Account feature. PourBridge also provides an external Account Deletion page. Account deletion is designed to delete the authenticated account and associated user-owned PourBridge data. Limited information may remain when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, security or fraud prevention, disputes, required financial or subscription records, normal backup cycles, or where information has already been aggregated or de-identified.

Your choices

You can choose whether to use optional photo and AI-powered features, edit information within PourBridge where available, manage or cancel app-store subscriptions through the applicable store, and request account deletion. For privacy questions or requests that cannot be completed in the app, contact PourBridge Support.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, but no internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children and minors

PourBridge is not directed to people under 21. If we learn that an ineligible person has provided personal information in connection with a PourBridge account, we may take appropriate steps to restrict the account and delete information as appropriate.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as PourBridge evolves. We will post an updated effective date and provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
